Have you ever felt the need to download a free program copy of something, but couldn't find it? Well, here's your chance! This blog post is your guide to the 37 best websites to learn something new. It will help you hone in on what you need and point out some fine examples of how to find and download one for free. Hope this helps! This blog post was written by me, Dr. Tiresias, and it provides a comprehensive list of online learning tools that are available for individuals who want something that they can practice at their own pace and with greater freedom than classes or tutorials can offer. By the end of this blog post, you will have a better idea of where to find online games, software, blogs, classes, forums, newsgroups and other sites that are available for free or at very little cost. The List Explained The list is broken into several categories. Each section is the same in that there are plenty of choices of what you can download and learn from. I ended up with 37 websites because it just seemed like too many choices to narrow down for this blog post. Additionally it can be overwhelming if you know absolutely nothing about online learning and want to start easy with just a few lessons before deciding if that's really for you or not. I'm listing the websites in alphabetical order and I'll provide a short description of what you can download and learn from each one. You can go right to the category that you want, or read the whole list and then decide. Each website selection includes a brief explanation of what you will be able to do there and a link to their website so you can read up on it in more detail if you need to. Please remember that these aren't affiliate links or anything like that so I'm not getting any money out of this, I just want to spread the word about these free online learning opportunities in case they're useful for anyone. If you would like to contribute more websites that are available for free, or if you have any comments or questions about anything that I've written here, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section at the bottom of this blog post.
